Met Kevin Keegan and presented him with a signed and inscribed copy of my book. He played for Liverpool under Bill Shankly before going on to captain, and later manage, the England team. We both dedicated our books to our wives, and to Bill Shankly. You can read Kevin Keegan’s story in his recent book ‘My Life In Football’ which I have read and can highly recommend.
